Sheldon Axelrod MD
Dr. Sheldon Axelrod is a board certified urologist who has performed hundreds of prostate and kidney cancer surgeries. Dr. Axelrod received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his urology training at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
He received an award for urology research and has published in the Journal of Urology, the official journal of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Axelrod was honored to stay on as a member of the full time academic facility at Columbia-Presbyterian upon completion of his Chief Residency at that institution.
He subsequently moved to Northern Westchester where has practiced for more than 15 years, completing a term as Chief of Urology at Northern Westchester Hospital.
Recently, Dr. Axelrod was named a "Top Doctor" by Westchester Magazine; he was further named a "Top Doctor" in the country by the US News and World Report.

Warren Bromberg MD
Dr. Warren Bromberg is a board certified urologist who has performed hundreds of prostate and kidney cancer surgeries.
Dr. Bromberg is the Division Chief of Urology at Northern Westchester Hospital, Mt. Kisco, N.Y. and the Medical Director of the Prostate Program at the hospital's Cancer Center.
Dr. Bromberg is also the Co-Director of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery Program at Northern Westchester Hospital. He received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University Medical School and completed his surgery and urology training at Northwestern University.
He completed his training in robotic surgery at programs offered by Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Hackensack University Medical Center, and Intuitive Surgical, Inc.
Dr. Bromberg has been asked to proctor other urologists who wish to learn robotic prostatectomy and has served on the Northeast Robotics Committee.

Mark Nogueira MD
Dr. Mark Nogueira is a specialist in minimally invasive urologic oncology.
He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed surgery and urology training at the University of Buffalo.
He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Dr. Nogueira has been performing robotic surgery early since its inception. He has performed hundreds of robotic prostatectomies for prostate cancer and laparoscopic radical and partial nephrectomies for kidney cancer.
Dr. Nogueira was part of one of the first teams of doctors to perform and develop robotic radical cystectomy for bladder cancer. He also has extensive experience performing laparoscopic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer and laparoscopic pyeloplasty for congenital ureteropelvic junction obstructions.
Dr. Nogueira has published several articles and textbook chapters about robotic and laparoscopic surgery in major medical journals and texts. Furthermore, he has presented his research to other doctors at many national and international meetings.

Roger Riechers MD
Dr. Roger Riechers is a board certified urologist who has been in active clinical practice for over 25 years. He attended Columbia College and completed his medical training at New York University School of Medicine as well as the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he also had a teaching position. Dr. Riechers has performed over a thousand surgeries for prostate and kidney cancer during his career.  |
